Red Cross Hero Award



Dr. Robert Miller (Advanced Valley Eye Associates) in Davis, and Dr. J.P. Perlman in Woodland, were honored in December 2011 as Heroes of The American Red Cross, Capital Region Chapter.  They were chosen as Medical Professional Heroes for the medical missionary trips to Mexico they’ve done over the past 15 years.  They’ve led over 25 trips and performed in excess of 1000 ophthalmic surgeries - mostly for cataract and other blinding disease.
